Job Profile
The Infrastructure Enterprise Services job is responsible for building and running enterprise services that enable the functioning of Technology teams, Products and Services across the bank.
This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:
- Provide Enterprise Services, including platform services (UNIX and Linux servers, Windows and Storage) for securely storing/analyzing data as well as Developer Services which enable faster delivery of highly standardized platform services; for example, Virtualization, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Dev Engineering, Group System Development Environment (GSDE), and Cloud
- Provide the Enterprise Services for the Database platform including Oracle, MySQL
- Setup automation Team(s) to increase efficiency and reduce time spent undertaking tasks
- Consolidate and reduce infrastructure complexity
- Develop Cloud based infrastructure platforms and deliver infrastructure, platform etc. "as a Service" by working with Business & other DevOps teams
- Determine the strategic direction and execute in each of the Technology areas under Enterprise Services responsibility
- Risk and Cost Management
- Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered platform services
- Business stakeholder management to define product roadmaps and keep other areas of HSBC informed about the Technological infrastructure capabilities available
- Write development code, understand a DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline, and build automated test scripts (for infrastructure products and upgrades), and build automation interfaces between systems

- Proactive in task arrangement
- Candidate should has 1 of these certificates.
- Oracle certificate
- Liniux Certificate
- DevOps skills ( CI/ CD, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet )
- SQL Database Administrator
