We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Lead, Merchant Growth, PayMe.

Principal Responsibilities 

In this role you will: 

  • Responsible for driving PayMe merchant acquisition through internal channels such as CMB and GPS. This includes the alignment of acquisition road map, the coordinated support on key merchant onboarding, the identification of business opportunities in the landscape, swift deployment of interventions and delivery of frontline knowledge refreshment
  • Owning, leading and providing oversight of the merchant life cycle performance and initiatives execution and will serve as an escalation point for internal channels stakeholders for business issues
  • Foster partnership with ecosystem partners to deliver business plan via strategic collaboration initiatives whilst promoting brand visibility within merchant community
  • Utilizing MI to identify performance trends, interpreting outcomes to address areas of concern and to ensure enhancements are made where necessary for optimum initiative performance outcomes
  • Engaging with the Product, Data & Insight, Risk and 2LOD teams to implement 'best in class' merchant management framework with timely constructive feedback provided to respective action parties to ensure a desirable end-to-end process, which is aligned to business policy and procedure
  • Formulate and execute interchange pricing optimization strategy to deliver PBT growth
  • Deepen partnership with key merchants to establish co-funding and customer acquisition collaboration to grow market share
  • Partnering with GPS and CMB stakeholders to deliver franchise-level solutions to merchant clients
Requirements

To be successful you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Solid experience in merchant relationship management and financial services
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and managing merchant partners
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to merchant partnership
