  • It spans across the entire Credit Risk management Value Chain starting from Preparation and On-boarding of a Credit Application in the Bank’s system and financial spreading followed by Credit Disbursement, Risk Monitoring, Control and Management.

 

The Opportunity: 

  • Support in managing the Operational activities/challenges of allocated credit processes in the remit of HASE and a wider scope of ASP.
  • Support key change/transformation projects aligning with strategic objectives of CS&CMU, assist in project tracking, project management & governance.
  • Assist in capacity planning of allocated team by ensuring resources match workloads to provide cost effective processing to deliver efficient, high quality service within Service Level Agreements and to pre-determined critical timescales.
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators. To continually re-assess the operational risks inherent in the business, taking account of changing market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, management restructures, and the impact of new technology.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Assisting in design/implementation of key initiatives for allocated process/ team in Credit Services for HASE/ASP level projects, support in overall Project management and ensure adequate Governance for related process/product.
  • Working as Process coach/Trainer of the team and key SME for change design and delivery.
  • Supporting in establishing and maintaining a high-quality relationship with onshore and accurately communicating with on a regular basis for project/process update or change implementation.
  •  Supporting in the maintenance of a high level internal control to minimize these risks and maximize process security.
  •  Assisting the people manager to manage day to day operations of processes and drive performance improvement.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • At least 3 years of experience in operations.
  • Strong project management skill with proven record in building and maintaining project stakeholders relationships and a strong change driver.
  • Excellent verbal and business communication skills as process coach/trainer.
  • Proven process management, improvement and service management skills.            
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
