The role will sit within the Global Fund Services team that is being established in India to support the Global Fund Services,
The Opportunity:
To work in Global Fund Services supporting the securities lending programs that are in operation in our fund ranges domiciled in the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, France and Hong Kong.
What you’ll do:
Provide daily monitoring of the securities lending programs in operation
Monitor daily collateral reports to ensure collateral value is sufficient versus value of the stock on loan
Monitor failed trade reports on a daily basis and follow-up with local offices & lending agent
Resolve issues in a timely manner in conjunction with the local investment and lending agent where appropriate. Understand and recognize risks and ensure appropriate oversight
Track lending fees are correct and ensure appropriate allocation and accruals in the fund ranges
Ensure timely and accurately compiled monthly/quarterly MI reporting by fund range
Liaise with relevant key stakeholders within the GFS team
Assistance with the preparation of quarterly Board reports as and when required.
Provide a highly professional, competent and skilled service to the business.
Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all laws, rules, regulations procedures, in accordance with best market practice.
Act with due care and diligence at all times.
Keep up to date with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Requires broad knowledge of the Asset Management business, as well as an excellent operations understanding and experience.
Good communications skills and relationship building, able to work effectively with all levels.
Good understanding and knowledge of technology and process management with proven ability to deliver high levels of service.
Good understanding of the characteristics and dynamics of the business and its full product suite.
Experience of working within a matrix organisation.
Good understanding of the operating models for Funds.
Efficient time management.
Equally comfortable working individually or within a team.
Identify weaknesses, provide solutions and have a proactive approach to improving the Operations function.
Ensure timely reporting and escalation of errors and issues.
Pro-active self-starter
