Organisational Excellence Analyst

In our cybersecurity team you’ll be helping to safeguard the financial system on which millions of people depend.

You’ll be making banking more secure by designing, implementing, and operating controls to manage cybersecurity risk. You’ll help define HSBC Group cyber security standards, deliver Global Security Operations ad Threat management services, provide round-the-clock monitoring and security incident response services, and oversee Network/Application/Infrastructure Security. The work you do will provid3e assurance of the adequacy and effectiveness of security controls to Business Risk Owners.


We are recruiting a Organisational Excellence Analyst role. This role reports to the Head of Organisational Excellence and is responsible for business planning support for GO&A Technology and will include analysis, actions management and business management activities. This role is within the central organisational excellence team who will work in partnership with business managers in each of the GO&A Tech teams. Regular interaction is expected with the GO&A Technology Exco, HR, and IT COO teams.

In this role you will:

• Assisting with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of GO&A Technology OKRs.
• Participate and support in business planning activities for GO&A Technology.
• Contribute to senior management business planning decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback
• Support the streamlining of internal business planning processes.
• Support the development and monitoring of internal governance activities
• Investigating and seeking remedies for business planning issues.
• Evaluate and analyse management information

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving space
• Experience in internal process improvements. 
• Data analysis, development of dashboards and presentation skills.
• Excellent technical expertise in Microsoft Office – Clarity, Projects (proficient), Excel (pivot table expertise, vlookups, formulas), PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to organize and structure - projects, processes, and communications. Prior experience in executive level report writing is beneficial.
• Ability to establish and leverage cross functional relationships to help drive project governance, execution and closure
• Superior analytical skills including the ability to synthesize results and connect key points across topics
• Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
• Self-starter/Independent thinker – ability to work independently, progress work, and bring it to the collaborative table.
• Extremely robust stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders at varying levels of the organisation.


This role is based in Sheffield.
