Reporting directly to the Channels Transformation & Capability Lead, you will be responsible for the leading the design, delivery and review of the WPB People Plan and execute on the agreed pillars to support business strategy. The current People Plan is centered on executing on improving leadership capability, helping our people reach their potential and driving a value led culture.

This role works closely with WPB Exco and Channels LT leadership teams to execute on the people plan and align work across departments around People Experience & Transformation. 

As the People Transformation Lead your main responsibilities will include:

  • Design, delivery and review of the Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) People Plan
  • Alignment and coordination of people experience initiatives spanning across WPB and within Channels
  • Coordination of people experience initiatives linked to Snapshot Survey and eNPS survey action plans that span WPB wide or Channels wide (eg. Step Challenge).
  • Delivery of the bi-annual Leaders Forum including vendor management, logistics/coordination, communication, content design and administration.
  • Programme management of bespoke people capability programmes as discussed or agreed on People Plan or by Exco to support business strategy (e.g. Implementation of 360 Leaders survey).
  • Analysing, reporting, and presenting on Snapshot and eNPS results including monitoring against WPB regional and local targets.
  • Supporting WPB Business Management on regular updates to HBAU Exco and Board on people initiatives.
  • Monthly reporting to Channels LT on Channels People Initiatives through governance forum.
  • Supporting / coordinating with local L&TD teams on local HR led initiatives (e.g. Career Expo, Benefits Fair, Talent Programmes).
  • Supporting local WPB Exco on Talent Mapping and Succession Planning initiatives.
  • Oversight and alignment of local Behavioural Award programmes. 
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Proven record in delivering people or culture transformation for 5 years +, with experience across transformational change.
  • Complimented by strong knowledge and experience in Learning and Development and Human Resource
  • A passion to put people experiences and interests at the centre of transformation
  • Experience of human-centred design/design thinking desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment.
  • Strong financial services business and product knowledge
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with interpreting and implementing new regulatory requirements.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
