Role Purpose:

International Wealth and Premier banking serves millions of customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. It is a global business that brings together management responsibility for International Wealth and Premier banking with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.

The role is customer facing role considered a Primary contact for Premier non-named RM customers which has a responsibility to acquire new customers, have ownership of the day-to-day servicing of customer needs & optimize cross selling opportunities, working with the broader branch and direct teams to ensure achievement of the business performance measures and plan (as defined by IWPB). 

This role holder scope focus on Premier non-named RM customers achieving new to bank acquisitions and upgrading existing eligible customers for Premier salaried proposition. Ensure suitable solutions are provided according to customers’ needs and embed customer loyalty by meeting their needs either directly or through other internal business partners.

The identification of opportunities for wealth reviews and delivering wealth solutions as an advisor are amongst the key activities to achieve your goals.

In delivering the business objectives role holder must also maintain the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC Group, closely managing the individual and the collective performance of the wider team.

Requirements

Knowledge / Experience:

 

  • Proven and progressive sales & service experience with in financial services industry
  • Strong financial services knowledge and experience with high net worth individuals handling.
  • Experience developing a sales strategy and a proven track record in achieving sales objectives
  • Familiarity with financial markets, good knowledge of wealth management products & services including insurance & investment.
  • Experience developing customized Wealth solutions for clients
  • Understanding of the HSBC Group, including cross business awareness is a plus
  • Understanding of business banking customer segment, products and services
  •  Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.

 

Skills :

  • Strong selling and presentation skills regarding Wealth / Insurance & Investment solution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially in influencing, motivation, coaching and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management
  • Accuracy – ability to get it right the first time.
