We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Manager – Everyday Banking.
Everyday Banking is an exciting business with the vital responsibility of supporting our customers in meeting their everyday banking needs. Within our business area we’re responsible for the products, services and customer experiences across current accounts, savings, overdrafts, debit cards, payments & foreign exchange. This role will require versatility to flex between different products and projects as demands and priorities evolve.
As an Everyday Banking Product Manager, you’ll be involved in the strategic development and execution of our products togethers with ensuring the continuous assessment and enhancement of our products through analysing performance, identifying areas for improvement, or making customer & data-driven decisions which align with our goals.
Your roles and responsibilities will include creating and nurturing products and services which align with the bank’s strategy and our customer needs. Depending on the product you’ll experience various stages of the product lifecycle from inception through to delivery and beyond.

In this role you will be:
• Responsible for our products lifecycles, from inception through to delivery and beyond
• Responsible for supporting implementation of complex strategic projects
• Using insight, data, and analysis to understand customer needs, identify opportunities to simplify our products/service, and ensure fair value and drive great outcomes for customers
• Taking ownership of our end-to-end customer journeys, using customer insights, behavioural data, and product usage insight for continuous improvement activities
• Ensuring we continuously maintain a comprehensive approach to conduct risk management, driven by rigorous product controls and sustained energy to improve consistency and service standards.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Working experience within a product manager role, including product development, governance, risk oversight, and managing product performance(essential).
• Proficiency in managing and influencing a broad range of stakeholders across brands & functions including technology, legal, compliance, credit risk, and other product teams (essential).
• Expert knowledge of customer-centric design, customer journey management, using insight and feedback to shape, test, and improve propositions (essential).
• Proven track record of complex decision making & problem solving with an ability to identify root causes and opportunities for continuous improvement to our products and services
• Demonstrable experience within a change implementation environment, leading and/or implementing change initiatives (essential)
• Vendor and / or third-party management (desirable)
This is a full time, hybrid role which can be based in any of the following hubs: Leeds, Birmingham, Chester or Sheffield.
