We are currently seeking a professional individual to join this team in the role of: Relationship Manager

The principal part of the role is to service a portfolio of Private Banking clients.

In this role, you will:

•    Service and maintain a portfolio of relationships, dealing with direct clients and asset managers and all other related stakeholders.
•    This includes promptly answering all questions raised by the client and their advisors and providing a first class private banking service.
•    Assist with the servicing of a portfolio of clients booked in Guernsey, to include input / release of payments, trading, periodic reviews and client general servicing, on a proactive and professional basis.
•    Build effective partnerships and network internally and effectively with Business Development Teams to develop and grow new Family Office business.
•    Support the Desk Head acting as deputy during absences and taking on resulting line management and supervisory functions
 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Proven track record of servicing clients and resolving complex queries within the banking sector is essential
•    Knowledge of international payments with some understanding of discretionary, advisory, custody, lending and execution only trading, including trading in Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Precious Metals desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
•    Ability to multitask whilst adapting to changing priorities and working collaboratively.
•    Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills and an ethical mindset.

There are no professional qualifications needed for this role, but we would be supportive of role holder undertaking investment qualifications.
