Department- Enterprise Technology 

In this role, you will :

  • Support SAP Employee Central (EC) Payroll in requirements definition, technical design, custom development.
  • Support development of global standards for the service to different regions with a clear measure to improve against KPIs, identify cost efficiencies and continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the impact assessment, analysis, design & implementation of any process or system changes impacting the service, inclusive of monthly SAP Service Pack releases.
  • Monitor defects and CRs (enhancements) in JIRA (DevOps tool) and ensure any high priority issues are addressed and tracked to closure
  • Complete deliverables within SLAs and with high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze business requirements and develop effective configuration solutions
  • Identifying any risks and propose solutions
  • Support implementation and take responsibility for progress of technical and functional work streams, working closely with Tier 2 Support team as well as business.
  • Support clients in defining relevant business processes. Provide business consulting support to customers.
  • Plan, follow and deliver every step of the project in line with agile methodology
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the project team.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest SAP HR technologies and trends and sharing knowledge with other team members.
  • The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
  • Conduct Peer reviews for the technical deliverables and evaluate the impact on other regions.
Requirements

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

  • Expertise with SAP HR-ABAP Programming.
  • Experience in Data dictionary, Interfaces, Conversions (RFC, ALV, BDC, BAPI, LSMW), Dialog programming, Smart Forms, HR Forms and Reporting.
  • Experience in RICEF is mandatory (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
  • Functional knowledge on Payroll, PA and Time is mandatory.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in Object Oriented ABAP.
  • Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in implementing HR Payroll interfaces by retrieving data from Payroll clusters and infotypes.
  • Knowledge of Employee master data replication using Point to Point (P2P) integration and Payroll control center (PCC) configuration is an advantage.
  • Understanding of payroll calculation process including payroll clusters, retro-calculation.
  • Proficient in SAP HCM Payroll process for UK Payroll and experienced in troubleshooting live issues for the countries USA, UK, OMAN, EGYPT, HK, CHINA & MEXICO.
  • Good level of knowledge and understanding on integration process between EC and EC Payroll
  • Experience with support packs implementations.
  • Experience in enabling mobile pay statements for ECPY countries.
  • At least one full cycle implementations as SAP HR ABAP Developer.
  • Ability to resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.
  • Ability to understand/gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
  • Strong logical and analytical abilities along with problem solving skills.
  • Written communication in a clear straight-forward, and professional manner
  • Skill to build good client relationship
