Services offered by “DAO Group Functions -  Insights and Analytics”:

  • Business Intelligence: Interactive & Self-serviced BI visualizations services, leveraging group standard tooling. The portfolio includes BI dashboard development, Business analytics solutions and SharePoint based development.
  • MI & Reporting: Production, distribution and maintenance of accurate, comprehensive and timely MI, with high level of information clarity and usefulness. The service includes bespoke analysis, quick turnaround ad-hoc support and investigative analytics
  • End to End Risk Management Meeting Support: Agenda setting, information management, pack preparation (including Enterprise risk reporting, Key MI (KMI)), Ignite template adherence, distribution and secretariat services
  • Data Management & Governance: Implement DUSE controls, improving BCBS 239 compliance score, remediating DQ issues across risk types
  • Global COO to support execution of the Regulatory Compliance Data Strategy and assist in putting data at the forefront of the Regulatory Compliance agenda.
  • Regulatory Compliance have recently created a Data team within Compliance CDO to execute against the Compliance CDO Data Strategy. This role will be involved in a number of areas to support the execution and includes:
  • Data Quality & Improvement
  • Data Landscape & Data Simplification
  • Policy & Governance
  • Data Analysis
  • The data team supports a number of RC Services including Assurance, Risk Strategy, Policy & Governance and specialist services such as Surveillance and Conflicts.
  • Strategic Data Delivery: Enabling compliant and controlled access to data from strategic sources (through RADAR) and supporting all BI, MI development

The Opportunity:

  • The candidate would be part of DAO Group Functions Insights and Analytics team supporting Enterprise Risk Reporting (ERM) function mainly working in the MI & Reporting vertical.
  • Candidate is responsible for Maintaining existing dashboards and creating new dashboard on Qliksense.
  • The candidate would get to interact with senior stakeholders and opportunity to build on the SME knowledge related to Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF).

What you’ll do:

  • Spearhead the creation of scalable reporting solutions in Qliksense that automate manual tasks, achieving significant time savings.
  • Oversee the complete development lifecycle in Qliksense, Including data extraction, data transformation, loading (ETL), and the creation of interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Create comprehensive MI reports, effectively distinguishing between Key Performance Indicators(KPI’s) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) to support informed decision-making.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and having product management knowledge.
  • Ability to think creatively to drive innovative/automation solutions.
  • Should be effective in guidance, leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Evidence of excellent prioritizing, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Establish efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) layers to enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Extract data from various sources and employ tools like Alteryx and Looker for data transformation to prepare it for analysis and reporting.
Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years of experience in Qliksense.
  • Proficiency in Qlik Sense Data Modeling: Expertise in designing and implementing data models using both star and snowflake schemas to optimize data retrieval and reporting efficiency.
  • Experience with Qlik NPrinting and Vizlib: Ability to create, manage, and distribute reports using Qlik NPrinting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights to stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive Qlik Sense Development Skills: Demonstrated capability in end-to-end development within Qlik Sense, including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and the creation of interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Proficiency in Data Extraction: Skilled in extracting data from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the process.
  • Management Information (MI) Design Expertise: Ability to design comprehensive MI reports and effectively differentiate between Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to support informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Data Transformation Tools: Proficient in utilizing data transformation tools such as Alteryx and Looker to prepare and manipulate data for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Adept at analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive business performance

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Proficient in using Big Query for Query Management.
  • Proficient in using data flow management tools like Alteryx.
