Credit Risk Portfolio Management is one of the key functional areas within Retail Risk Management. This function owns the end to end report generation used to facilitate strategy development by the Risk committees, board members, CRO and COOs for region, country and Group.
This role applies to the Information job family and would encompass supporting Management Information and analyses tor the HBAP Credit Risk team using customer \ operational data and responsible for HBAP RBWM Risk deliverables with end to end report generation, report comprehension and data management of Risk reporting for HBAP RBWM Risk.
The Opportunity:
Provide support to maintain existing MIS reports and design new reports based on business requirement. Production of reports and distribute in accurate and timely manner.
Query, analyze and transform complex data sets to optimize dashboard flexibility and performance.
Along with delivery of reports with 100% quality and TAT, the most important responsibility is to inculcate process efficiency with automation and standardization, resulting in cost savings for the department.
Automation of standard data process to gain efficiency:
Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to leadership team. Generate both periodic and adhoc requests as needed. Understand customer problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
Analyse business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues. Provide customer support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution.
Maintain adequate engagement of team members and continuously strive to improve quality & timeliness of team deliverables
Responsible for end-to-end project management and hands on delivery when required. He/she should ensure productivity and output of the team should fall in line with the stated SLAs. Monthly monitoring and review of all projects with stakeholders to ensure that all stated SLAs are met
Work with multiple customers/functions on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
Manage relationship with key stakeholders in the Business (Onshore and Offshore) to build confidence in team and enable stakeholder’s investment in development of the team
Establish and maintain effective relationship with business areas and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular calls and feedback mechanism.
Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing QA/QC framework for identified processes and ensures adherence and constant improvement
Projects & Analysis- Good understanding of business domain, functional goals, and the required technical expertise.
Sees the 'bigger picture' and assesses relationships between recommended analytical solutions / projects and business performance.
Makes decisions, even with ambiguous /incomplete data at a pace that balances the need for further analysis and the need for timely decision given business pressures / requirements.
Complete any other duties /assignments from ACOE and GR.

What you’ll do:
Responsible for delivering Credit Risk related reports related to a group of portfolios
Given the dynamic and ever changing global business situation, the business area supported by this role is expected to steer the business priorities to best suit the situations. This may result in changing priorities for projects and analysis. The analytics team is expected to meander through the same and continue to provide best quality solutions as relevant to the need. The incumbent of this role is expected to summarize the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis, business knowledge & intuition to make best case recommendations
The role holder shall also be expected to guide Senior Analyst/Analysts from a functional perspective and help them build up a strong business understanding as a SME.
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Bachelors /Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical area preferred.
A minimum of 2+ years professional experience performing duties as mentioned in the Essential Functions section above.
Expertise in SAS and VBA
Basic understanding of Data warehouse concepts. Good understanding of SQL, to write efficient queries to generate ad-hoc reports and deep dive data analysis.
Experience in Credit Risk Reporting
Experience with Visualization Tools like Qliksense, Tableau, Power BI
Excellent analytical skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills
What additional skills will be good to have?
Exposure to Python will be an advantage.
