We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst.
Principal Responsibilities
Job Profile:
The principal responsibility of the Business Analysis job category is to manage the analysis of processes in HSBC and to oversee and manage all or some of the associated activities during change implementation. The role holder location is Hong Kong and they may be located in projects as well as in established BAU teams. It is possible that the Senior Business Analyst may work on multiple projects simultaneously.
In this role you will
- Capturing, analysing and documenting of business process (including IT processes)
- Designing of solutions or change interventions. Managing change activities which can include diverse tasks such as timeline planning to stakeholder engagement. Devising change interventions such as training and communication
- Managing the tracking and documenting progress and managing status reporting. Stakeholder Management and reporting on progress, risks, issues and dependencies
- Managing support staff when required, ensuring resources are utilised effectively and resource supply meets demand
- Requirements gathering, Standard Operating procedures and Training of Production staff
- Role will support production and continue to drive knowledge and user experience on Platforms. Drive JIRAs for Production IT support to the correct IT/CIO team for resolution
- Ongoing documenting and maintaining Standard Operating procedures for Operations and continuing knowledge share across the business teams
- Provide support to Product Owners and assisting to facilitate discussions with key stakeholders. Assist on initiatives to provide input and coordinate across multiple teams on backlog items based on knowledge and support
To be successful you will need
- To manage related change projects and initiatives globally for Transfer Agency Product Delivery
- Involve the forward planning for changes and enhancements through to implementation as prioritized for Transfer Agency. This includes client reporting, regulatory system changes plus the interfacing and linkages with strategic Market and Security Services Transfer Agency platforms – GTAP.Net and GTAP J2EE
- Incumbent will work with a geographically dispersed team of resources and undertake planning, enhancement and testing phases of assigned projects and activities relating to client onboarding, meeting existing clients’ new requirements and regulatory Change promoted system enhancements/configuration and migrations
- Work closely with IT, MSS, Operations and Product teams to create and deliver realistic schedule of TA changes and improvements
- Project work streams will be created and managed by the incumbent to deliver Single Book of Change and Strategic driven initiatives in these areas leveraging extended Product Delivery and IT teams globally, as well as Vendors
- To manage periodic reporting and client interface requirements
- To operate effectively both as team leader and as an individual contributor
- Solid understanding of Transfer Agency
