Department: - Wholesale IT

In this role, you will:

  • Investigating system failures and incidents reported on the services supported. 
  • Communicating with various Business & IT teams.
  • Exhibit Flexibility to work in shifts and provide on-call support.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and production fixes.
  • Working as a part of a global team.
  • Adherence to SLAs & service delivery procedures defined by ITIL framework.
  • Excellent problem solving and root-cause investigation skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English language are essential.
  • Good knowledge in JCL, DB2, CICS & COBOL is essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT Infrastructure is essential.
  • Should have worked in Production Support.
  • Basic knowledge of MQ is preferable
  • Exposure to support tasks is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems and/or Banking Domain is preferable.
  • Knowledge of Payment & Cash Management systems and Gateways like SWIFT is preferable. 
  • Familiarity with Incident / Problem / Change Management procedures is preferable.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally under pressure

 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Good Grasp on Incident Management fundamentals is a ‘must have’
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience on JCL, DB2, COBOL, CICS.
  • Understanding of Job Scheduler like TWS etc’.
  • The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: (Good to have Requirements)
  • Know-how of Problem and Change Management fundamentals would be beneficial.
  • Awareness of Logging and Monitoring Tools like Appdynamics ( Appd).
