To support a key IWPB strategy of bringing end-to-end digitalization, the Senior Digital Product Manager role is primarily responsible for building the strategy and driving digital product features under Transaction Banking value stream –  which covers  Payments and Foreign Exchange.   You will be a key member of Digital Product team and reporting to the Digital Product Lead.   

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Transaction Banking Value Stream covering all channels across Mobile, Internet Banking and Staff Platforms.
  • Accountable for setting Digital Transaction Banking Value Stream vision & strategy collaborating closely with respective local, regional, and global teams.
  • Lead & drive the Digital roadmap for Domestic Payments, International Payments, Foreign Exchange features, Bill Payments and all other payment initiatives to achieve highest level of business/customer outcomes.
  • Responsible for implementation and operationalization of Digital features and services in the market ensuring alignment with Global Value streams.
  • Ensure Product Roadmaps and Agile artefacts are produced and updated
  • Consolidate business cases, benefit realisation plans and ideation cases to embed new features to grow and accelerate the Digital agenda.
  • Build a digital strategy for corresponding Value Stream that will lead and deliver value across the key operating activities that span product management, sales management, customer experience, content management, digital messaging and digital optimization
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Customer Experience, Contact Centre, Network and Marketing teams.
  • Build strong relationships, adopting a joined-up approach and ensure regular and positive engagement with key support functions such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc. 
  • Collaborate with scale Agile teams and IT partners to refine and prioritize product delivery.
  • Responsible for transaction banking BAU operation including maintenances, releases, production issues, risks, defects
  • Lead, guide, and nurture team member(s) as a people manager.
Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience in Digital Product Management 
  • Strong experience in roadmap planning, strategy and project/ initiative delivery
  • Strong understanding of Australian payment ecosystem, Australia payment solutions, payment rails, Payment regulations etc 
  • Strong experience in leading large scale initiatives, feature implementation, operationalisation  under agile delivery 
  • Passionate, drive, customer centered mindset 
  • Strong experience in agile practices and methodologies,
  • Outstanding subject matter expertise of digital technology, including technical, commercial and customer considerations.
  • Good understanding of a multi-channel business model within Personal banking is preferred 
  • Strong commercial orientation, track record of balancing risks versus rewards and maximizing the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business.
  • Attentive to detail, able to work independently as well as part of a team with strong commitment to working and thinking collaboratively

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
