We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Manager, Financial Crime, CIB.

The Senior Manager, Financial Crime, CIB is responsible for providing specialist technical advice on Financial Crime risk related matters in relation to Corporate and Intuitional Banking (CIB) customers. The role is a key risk management role with a targeted remit and responsibilities including, but not limited to:  

In this role, you will:

•    Provide dedicated compliance advisory to senior stakeholders within CIB and FC counterparts.
•    Assist in the formulation of the due diligence requirements, policy and procedures, and formal presentation materials for senior management. 
•    Ensure the alignment of CIB design and deployment to existing Group Policies including updating of the relevant documents where required.
•    Financial crime risk analysis and challenge of proposed changes or new processes (and related financial crime controls in CIB), detailed functional requirements and target operating models. Ensure FC input into the planning, scoping and deployment/implementation of the global solutions where relevant for CIB.
Provide clear, timely and accurate advice to colleagues within the FC team and CIB line of business and other parts of the Bank as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within relevant environment/s, i.e. Financial Crime risk management advisory background.
•    Proven client risk management expertise, including CIB, GB, and/or CMB experience, preferably gained within HSBC or one of its peers.
•    Proven track record of managing risk within a complex organisation, making decisions and managing competing demands
•    Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of but not limited to Capital Markets and Advisory Products with good working knowledge of current legislation and regulation relating to Financial Crime risks 
•    Proven experience in a relevant role, i.e. within the financial services industry covering AML, Sanctions, ABC, Fraud, Tax Evasion, Transaction Monitoring, is desirable but not essential.
•    Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high preforming terms. 

The base location for this role is London – Hybrid working
