Communications for Businesses and Markets (CBAM) is part of our People, Governance and Communications (PG&C) structure. This team designs and implements communications strategies to support HSBC’s business objectives in line with our values, and enhance / protect our reputation among key stakeholders. 

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Production Lead.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

• Play a principal role in the production of multimedia content across HSBC’s Business, Markets, Infrastructure and Internal Communications teams
• Be responsible for creating original multimedia content, focused on editorial and brand-aligned creative assets including digital design, audio, video, animation, and new media
• Script briefs, develop storyboards, manage to budget, set and deliver on deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects
• Lead of video production for the team, creatively filming and editing video aligned to pre-agreed treatments you’ve guided on.  This will also include selecting programme format for final output, capturing/importing media, organising raw media etc.
• Be responsible for asset management and library across Communications, Businesses and Markets to ensure we industrialise content and leverage resources

To be successful you will need

• Expert knowledge of producing of multimedia content in a business context
• Have strong postproduction video editing abilities
• Have experience of copy-writing and editing
• Strong team player and network builder across a complex organisation and different geographies
• A creative mind-set with strong technical communication skills

 *This role is based in London or Hong Kong, Hybrid.
