We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Vice President Third Party

This role is responsible for the identification of emerging risks arises from our relationship with Third Party and ensuring they can be as mitigated and operating resiliently. Additionally, the role requires the job holder to have strong verbal and written communication skills; to ensure that risk awareness deeply permeates within HBID. Finally, the role requires the job holder to competently manage incidents and crisis, by communicating timely with all related stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the implementation HBID Third Party Management framework and regulatory requirements. Conduct comprehensive third-party risk management reviews across the HBID portfolio, covering internal and external stakeholder.
  • Lead initiatives to address root causes of unexpected losses, developing innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness caused by Third Party. Implement corrective measures to manage persistent operational risks, enhancing risk resilience. Serve as a point of contact to ensure sufficient remediation of third-party audit or exam issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Control Office and Resilience teams to ensure services provided by Third Party can operate efficiently within the Risk Governance framework, managing operational risk within set Risk Appetite parameters.
  • Assist business / functions team as TPEM delegates to perform risk assessments and ensure smooth engagement with Third Party. Ensuring intercompany charges are appropriate and inline with the agreed scope of works and terms and conditions.
  • The role holder needs to cultivate risk control and ownership disciplines within teams. S/he needs to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with various internal partners, teams and different departments towards common goals.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Indonesian Citizen Only
  • Minimum Bachelors degree with at least 10 years’ experience in the Banking industry preferable with Risk Management skills, vendor management and understanding of banking regulations.
  • Proven leadership quality, strong decision-making skills and track record of influencing executive stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and associated risks and processes.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environment and regulatory compliance risk.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse a large volume of information and / or data and provide succinct summary for senior management.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, and confident in interaction with Regulators.
  • Experience of creating, leading and motivating a team.
