We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of Unsecured Acquisition Product Manager.

The Unsecured Lending team drives all product lifecycle activities and proposition development for credit cards and personal loans, including customer acquisition, customer journey enhancements, product pricing, retention strategies, existing customer management, marketing and portfolio management, and has full P&L responsibility for these products. The team supports customers with their lending needs across HSBC, M&S Bank, First Direct, working with wider Banking and Propositions colleagues, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations, Global Teams and Card Schemes (Visa and MasterCard).

In this role you will:

•    Responsible for Credit Card & Personal Loans acquisition delivery
•    Supporting with the development and delivery of the Cards & Loans Strategy and Annual Operating Plans.
•    Using insights and a data driven approach to propose and deliver business recommendations to drive performance.
•    Monitor that the financial performance of each product meets business requirements and amend where necessary, to ensure financial viability and profitability of the Card / Personal Loans.
•    Working with a wide range of stakeholders including wider Banking and Propositions colleagues, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Risk, Finance, CRM & Analytics, Compliance, Legal, IT and Transformation

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Product Manager experience, ideally within cards or loans 
•    Able to translate data and analysis into compelling insights and recommendations, coupled with a strong working knowledge of Excel and confident working with formulas and pivot tables.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
•    Able to create, develop and deliver initiatives and projects that generate incremental revenue and profit to our business area;
•    A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of how to successfully implement change

This role is hybrid and can be based in Chester, Leeds, Sheffield or Birmingham.
