We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Workspace Analytics Manager.

Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders with (but not limited to) the following groups:  Global Business Intelligence & Insights, Workspace, Operational Cost Management, internal IT, the Future of Work and RES Operations workstreams
  • Be responsible for deploying new workspace data and tech solutions developed for the ‘workspace experience’, ‘workspace service’ and ‘smart building’ programs.  Specific to the deployment of broader program around data capture, mining and communication, the role will have end to end responsibility for the project/programme, including definition, planning, execution and implementation, governance and control, financial, resource and change management associated with the deployment of the analytics function
  • Work with the RES end users to develop the system outputs and associated dashboards to ensure relevance.  Monitor usage and refine to maximise reliance on these tools for RES decision making and operations to ensure the adherence to bank processes and procedures at project/programme level, as set and communicated by HSBC Group, regulators and ITID PPM Practice
  • Produce reports inclusive of suggested recommendations on the outputs and trends from the various RES tech systems. Articulates to stakeholders the targeted benefits and takes joint responsibility for benefits realization, including the creation and tracking of key performance indicators related to employee experience
  • Sets the pace of the data analytics programme, driving a culture of achievement and ensures pace by identifying and removing barriers to project success.  Work with various stakeholders to drive program improvement around the use of data in day-to-day operations
  • Maintain regular dialogue with Global and Regional ITID and BI&I teams in support of best practice initiatives and developments that will establish and maintain vibrant, enthused, and highly energised work environments.
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Outstanding data analytics project / programme management expertise, including strategic communications, decision-making, problem solving, lateral thinking, and interpersonal skills an advanced technical proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools, including Python, Alteryx, Tableau, and QlikSense
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in data development, capture, and cloud-based systems architecture. Specially Google Cloud Platform – GCP) as applied to real estate and business operations
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaborations with technical and business teams to design, develop, and deliver analytical solutions aligned with business requirements (included Waterfall, Agile), with emphasis on delivering data-driven solutions
  • Exceptional relationship management and collaboration skills, with a focus on bridging gaps between technical and operational teams as Change agent with track record in implementing large scale transformation programs
  • Detail orientated with a strong financial / analytical background; able to contextualize financial data into actionable business insights
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, including optimizing data pipelines, automation, and cloud-based solutions. Able to develop proof of concepts to validate and scale data-driven solutions. Drive adoption of advanced analytics and AI/ML where applicable
