We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  • Need to implement APPIAN technical/functional deliveries for AM Business Use Cases.
  • Implement low level technical design based on User story and Acceptance criteria. Responsible for translating high-level designs/patterns into low-level technical specifications for custom development.
  • Work as an APPIAN Developer in Client Ops Sub Value stream under Asset Management IT
  • Build APPIAN solutions with an engineering mindset that not just achieve functional objectives but also cater to non-functional requirements with consistent performance that help our business to grow revenue.
  • Work with global stake holders – engineering, delivery teams, architects
  • Driving full stack end to end solutions based on daily conversations within the scrum meeting.
  • The candidate should have a strategic outlook towards understanding, assessing, and implementing IT projects in HSBC asset management IT. HSBC Asset management is undergoing a business transformation and IT teams are partner in this journey. The candidate should think strategically, understand global trends and partner with global team to drive results
  • The candidate should be familiar with HSBC agile practices with excellent implementation knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean processes.
  • Good understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery.
  • Good communication skills for navigating through business requirements, differences of opinion on approach 
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • APPIAN Platform Understanding and its components.
  • Develop process models, data types, user interfaces (SAIL), and integrations using the Appian platform.
  • Proficiency with APPIAN Low code platform, including its object types, query rules, and expression rules.
  • Proficiency in using Smart Services, web services etc.
  • Ability to design and write SQL queries for accessing data in relational databases.
  • Able to debug and test APPIAN applications.
  • Ability to support and implement new changes by understanding APPIAN applications and related code.
  • Proficiency in writing custom rules/code under APPIAN platform.
  • Test driven techniques including TDD, automated unit testing and mocking.
  • Provide technical input to refine user stories for the Product Owner
  • Agile methodology
  • Familiar with GIT and DevOps
  • Good skills in APPIAN Tech Stack
