We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Inforce Management.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
Inforce Portfolio Management:
- Support the monitoring of profitability and performance of the inforce portfolio with a particular focus on Index Universal Life (“IUL”)
- Conduct analysis on key performance drivers including sales, persistency, costs of hedging and propose portfolio actions e.g. calibration of caps and participation rates to achieve outcomes
Persistency Management:
- Support the implementation of targeted strategies to improve policyholder retention and persistency for new and existing businesses
- Collaborate with other departments including Actuarial, Pricing, Distribution and Finance teams to execute initiatives that improve policyholder outcomes, enhance service propositions, and address key lapse drivers
Strategic Initiatives:
- Assist in the design, pricing and monitoring of portfolio initiatives across all life insurance products, including reinsurance
- Prepare reports on initiatives performance, persistency trends, financial impact and customer behaviour
Data & Analytics:
- Design and drive automation of dashboard that tracks product sales performance by distribution channel, customer demographics, and product selection trends
- Analyse trends and build business cases to support management decisions
To be successful you will
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field
- Demonstrated progress towards actuarial exams
- Has prior actuarial exposure and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams on product performance or inforce strategy
- Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Experience with Prophet, Excel VBA and/or SQL
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving
