We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice president Assurance

Principal responsibilities 

  • Strong Knowledge and experience of Internal Audits, Risk Assessment, Sarbanes Oxley(SOX) 404 Internal Controls, Committee of Sponsoring Organzations(COSO) Frame work and Guidelines, Process reviews.
  • Knowledge of performing audit of regulatory reporting for banking and financial services sector
  • Ability to understand the Process, Polices & Procedures to Assess the Effectiveness of underlying controls.
  • Ability to interact with the Global Business and Process Owners to review the Process and Internal controls associated with the Business.  
  • Conduct Walkthrough Meetings with Process Owners, along with In-country controls Team & PWC Auditors.
  • Strong Knowledge in Business Functions for the various Business Areas in HSBC.
  • Adhere to the ICMP (Internal Controls Monitoring Plan) and work closely with the In country Controls Team.
  • Understanding various Systems and their Functionality which are used by the Business Areas and are Under Scope of Sarbanes Oxley(SOX) Controls.
  • Preparation of critical Month end deliverables, Sarbanes Oxley(SOX) testing and highlighting of issues to business partner / management.

Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience
  • Knowledge of performing audit of regulatory reporting for banking and financial services sector
  • Experience of working in Financial Services sector
