We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.
Business: SecSvcs & Digital Assets Tech
Principal responsibilities
- Oversee the successful delivery of IT projects, from initiation through deployment.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and set delivery expectations.
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams (developers, testers, architects, DevOps).
- Facilitate Agile delivery processes and ensure adherence to delivery frameworks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Identify delivery risks and drive mitigation strategies.
- Track and report on delivery performance, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or in a similar role, preferably in software development environments.
- Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence,).
- Technical background or understanding of software engineering practices.
- Experience in managing software development or IT projects.
