We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. 

Business: Enterprise Technology 

Principal responsibilities

  • Deliver features on-time with good quality (zero blocker, critical, high issues) independently following vision “Go Faster, Break Less, and Protect Production.”
  • Participate in design workshop, review/ensure the technical design/code structure is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate individually or provides project lead as required in projects to support technical and business strategies. Initiates and conducts feasibility studies of new and modified business requirements.
  • Provide direct guidance to junior teammates in planning, designing, programming, documentation and implementation of the systems.
  • Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures, and timely escalate major project risks & issues to service owner.
  • Support ITSO for service management and ensure the applications comply with the risk and control standards.
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders from different locations (China, Hong Kong, UK, India)
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a major or minor in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years related experience in IT industry (Financial Service), particularly in Risk and Analytics areas.
  • Solid and proficient skills in public cloud (GCP/AWS/Ali) and programming language (Python/Java).
  • Experience on design and implement DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipleline. Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Jira/Confluence.
  • Experience on design and implement Kubernetes solution and relate cloud native tooling.
  • Possess hand on project management with Agile – Scrum methodology discipline.
  • Strong communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
  • Good command of written and spoken English. 

What additional skills will be good to have:

  • Knowledge or experience in admin/maintenance skills on one or more domains including Linux/Unix, Oracle/Mongo/PostgreSQL, Windows, NAS/Storage.
  • Working experience in Risk and Analytics area is a plus.
