We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Wholesale Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • The role requires active participation and contribution in Incident investigation, service recovery management in crisis calls and communication with various stakeholders and also Change Management activities.
  • Monitor system and respond to any system alerts. Resolve the system failures to ensure service stability.
  • Respond to customers for any queries on using the systems and services.
  • Sense of escalation for critical incident. Represent as service recovery manager to engage and drive different parties in solving the incident. Report to stakeholders on service impact and recovery plan. And participate in post incident review.
  • Be able to extend support during non-office hours and holidays.
  • Conduct change review to mitigate any risk before implementation.
  • Participate in various other change activities like Role swaps/DR tests, reconciliation activities, system healthcheck etc. 
  • Identify the potential risk and improvement areas and work with project team for enhancement.
  • Develop knowledge base on exception handling , system runbook etc. Improve team capacity to shorten resolution time in incident management and service recovery.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years' experience work in IT domain. Good knowledge of Mainframe(CICS/DB2/COBOL/MQ). Desirable Knowledge of Network is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and understanding of IT Infrastructure is essential
  • Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems or Banking Domain is preferred
  • ITIL certificated. Excellent incident management, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skill in English with the ability to work with Global virtual team across multiple regions is a must.
  • Positive 'can do' attitude and self-motivated. Ability to think creatively to drive innovative solutions. Ability to multi-task. Adaptive capacity in learning new knowledge.
