We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: CTO Data Technology
Principal responsibilities
As a key member of the technical team, you will be expected to define and contribute at a high-level to many aspects of our collaborative agile development process:
- Integrating with an established, complex Hadoop/GCP based project adhering to tight deadlines.
- Working with globally dispersed and diversified teams.
- Supporting specific use-cases and onboarding new use-cases
Requirements
- Hands on DevSecOps experience with Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform and Kubernetes deployment & management.
- Hands on cloud experience with CSPs ideally GCP & Azure
- Hands on experience in building microservices and applications with specific focus on backend development and API integration.
- Expertise in software development, orchestration and automation with tools such as Airflow
- Demonstratable experience in providing leadership & innovation to engineering solutions
- Promoting development standards, code reviews, mentoring, knowledge sharing.
- Hands on experience in both cloud Big Data and AI services such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini, Open AI
- Hands on experience and expertise with cloud networking, database and infrastructure configuration and management e.g. Postgres SQL, Dataproc, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, SSL certs, Redis
