France Digital Channels Team is responsible for developing channels proposition for Interactive and Direct channels to provide best in class digital experience to Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) and Commercial (CMB) customers.
 
We are currently seeking an individual to join the team for the role of Digital Product Manager.
 
As Product Manager, you will oversee Wholesale business Internet Banking ElysPC and HSBCNet platforms supporting commercialisation, development, and governance for products. 
Understanding customer needs and converting these into business opportunities, through a compelling and positive customer journey is essential for the delivery of the best digital client experience.
 
In this role, you will: 

  • Align with global and regional digital teams’ strategic direction of electronic banking channels including France Market expectation
  • Manage digital products (Desktop and Mobile app) roadmap implementation in relation with technology teams and business partners: Cash Management, GTRF and Market and Securities Services (MSS).
  • Manage pricing and billing for digital product in relation with Revenue Management team.
  • Responsibility for product governance including product reviews, financial performance and managing closure of functional and non-functional risks/issues impacting the product performance or operational efficiency. You will be also responsible of product legal and regulatory compliance
  • Manage product commercialisation activities (documentation, training, communication, …) for global/regional and local initiatives including creation of material and content to support front line: Relationship manager, sales and implementation teams
  • Support HSBC initiatives (global or local) having impact on Internet Banking and lead their execution 
  • Manage customers’ expectations through presentations, meetings and RFP
  • Contributes to HSBC group’s sustainability agenda.
  • Represent HSBC in interbank or regulatory organizations, and in professional fairs or any other organizations linked with Digital activity

The base location for this role is Paris, France.

This role will report to the FR Digital Channel team in Paris.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience working in relevant environments, e.g., Product Life Cycle, operations or technology
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e., commercialisation of a product or service
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including Senior Management
  • Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same.  
  • Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery.
  • Relevant knowledge digital products- internet and mobile banking solutions.
  • Relevant product knowledge of liquidity and cash management product suite is desirable but not essential
  • English and French speaker
