Your career opportunity
Wholesale Impairment Reporting and Stress Testing team is responsible for maintenance and development of impairment reporting, high quality analysis and simulations and stress-testing. Identified candidate will work with regional sub-teams and cooperate with the wider global team in delivering BAU reporting and supporting important change initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Delivery BAU IFRS9 processes relation to regions and group including control monitoring and review.
- Support credit risk analysis and review of Impairment numbers including relevant portfolio level analysis of ECL, PD, LGD and other metrics.
- Ability to a provide a proactive focus on risk/issue identification and mitigation, recognizing where MI should be escalated for further review.
- Ability to effectively work with global and regional teams in risk, finance and relevant transformation functions where needed.
- Support credit risk analysis and speed up the analysis process using ‘out of the box’ ideas on solution development.
- Support development of new credit analysis solutions using analytics tools like SAS, Python and MI tools like Qlik Sense, Tab, and similar tools.
- Have ability to analysis and synthesize numbers and present to senior stakeholders.
- Support development of high caliber ability within the teams both onshore and offshore.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Previous experience in credit risk, preferably modelling and IFRS 9 experience, preferable.
- Basic knowledge of SAS programming (SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide) and/or python and/or SQL.
- Experience with data quality issues and mitigation.
- Business knowledge of credit and market risk will be preferred.
- Ability to work on projects with multiple work streams and deliverables.
- Strong communication skills and out of box thinking is essential.
