We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Global Head of Insurance Partnerships.

Principal responsibilities

  • Be a business partner, insurance SME and advocate with local, regional, and global management.
  • Actively seek ways to grow and optimize relationships with our strategic product partners, leveraging our joint strengths and capabilities.
  • Jointly develop the business plans for insurance partnerships in context of overall bank, insurance and partner plans. Ensure alignment with WPB, CMB and GPB plans and priorities.
  • Ensure and drive effective execution of business plans.
  • Principal global point of contact for partner(s) in the region. Actively participate in partnership governance forums (CSCs, RSCs) and actively influence the agendas to ensure important topics are discussed and resolved and proper escalation happens, as appropriate.
  • Drive and manage the agenda for the Regional Steering Committees, based on delivery of plan, optimizing the partnerships through leveraging each other’s strengths, resolving any critical outstanding items, and ensuring proper decision-making, escalation and governance of the partnership.
  • Create and agree the business case for investment in capability development roadmaps that ensure delivery of business plan
  • Ensure that insurance partnerships remain a relevant and priority business line for respective countries, generating growing returns while meeting needs of our customers
  • Actively contribute to overall strategic partnerships strategy and business plan by identifying the optimal role for our strategic partners in country strategies and the business opportunities to leverage partners’ strengths to advance the joint business.
  • Work closely with peers in Group Insurance Distribution, Customer& Marketing teams to ensure
    • sales model & processes are optimized, compensation/incentive schemes are aligned, sales quality is maintained.
    • the partnership business is appropriately prioritized in the business, is reflected in business plans and priorities, and plans are being executed effectively and any partnership issues are being appropriately escalated and managed.
    • to drive product development and ongoing product management of their respective region’s product portfolio. Ensure appropriate prioritization and development timelines to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Active participation / leadership in key strategic projects in respective countries
  • Support for execution of partner requests, corporate program execution, internal communications and global virtual partnerships team development
  • Ensure execution of the TOM
  • Setting - and managing to - globally consistent goals and metrics (to be developed in conjunction with WPB, CMB and GPB.)
Requirements

Requirements

  • Solid and in depth experience of Specialist Product, Marketing/Sales experience in Insurance, with particular emphasis on bancassurance partnerships.
  • Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams (preferably within an international retail bank)
  • Results orientated with proven track record, self-directed, and high energy
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to influence and actively drive performance
