We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Head of International Mid – Market.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and drive business strategies to acquire quality clients, broaden existing relationships and retain clients to ensure healthy growth, supporting HSBC’s ambition to grow the IMM business
  • Work closely with product partners to ensure a well-coordinated approach to target clients and a clear understanding of the business opportunities and returns
  • Deliver best in class client experience to clients ensuring their needs are fully understood and met through a variety of strategic and complex solutions
  • Ensure high quality lending across the portfolio, safeguard the Bank from potential loss, maintain HSBC credit standards, uphold portfolio quality, maintain high level of compliance and minimize operational, credit and internet banking risks
  • Achieve key performance indicators as determined
  • Responsible for first line risk management, specifically Credit, Reputational, Compliance and Financial Crime
  • Monitor key metrics to ensure employee productivity is meeting and/or exceeding market norms in respect to broadening client relationship
  • Establish and maintain networks for collaboration with both external parties and within internal parties which include other HSBC businesses, supporting creation of solutions to customer needs that span national and product boundaries and regulatory environments
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Applicant for Indonesian Passport holder only
  • Demonstrated overall knowledge of banking operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology development and how this can be used to meet business needs
  • Practical experience of transformation / change initiatives with project management experience
  • Financial and accounting acumen
  • Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
  • Experience of managing within a complex matrix environment
  • Experience working across cultures
  • Knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
  • Understanding of local operating markets and their corresponding span(s) of control
