We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Pricing. 

Principal Responsibilities 

  • The jobholder is responsible for leading the Pricing and In-Force Management team for the delivery of all product-related actuarial activities including:
    • Product pricing for new products and repricing of existing products, covering investment-linked, universal life, participating savings, participating protection and non-participating products, and covering all distribution channels including RBWM, broker, agency, FA and direct channels
    • Policy illustrations for both new and enforce policies
    • Special quotes, including support to High Net Worth business segment
    • Product profitability monitoring
    • Actuarial support for TSA exit
    • Managing new product risks
  • The jobholder is responsible for assessment of product profitability under IFRS 17 basis and product capital requirements under regulatory capital basis
  • The jobholder required to liaise with INSP Business teams (e.g. Products, Distribution, Customer teams) on regular basis, and to provide professional advice and solutions to senior management of INSP in various management initiatives including but not limited to those related to product and distribution strategy
  • The jobholder will liaise with relevant Group Insurance teams for approvals of new product pricing
Requirements
  • Qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body
  • At least 10 years of Actuarial experience with experience in product pricing
  • In depth experience with pricing processes and process controls
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Project management experience, organizational skills and ability to think innovatively
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically balanced with practical day-to-day execution
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence senior level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated negotiation, leadership and problem solving skills
  • Experience in Singapore insurance industry is an advantage
  • Experience of managing pricing team in direct life insurance company is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and at times rapidly evolving priorities
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
