Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB)
Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become a global wealth manager with USD1.4 trillion in assets.  Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:  

1. Mutual Fund Product Management

- Facilitate end-to-end product life cycle management to ensure customer-centric products to be offered to customers and ensure the process fulfill regulatory requirements and Group policy

- Analyze industry trend, competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats for wealth product development

- Support mutual fund product roadmap, product line expansion, digital marketing, pricing, value proposition, segmentation, investment advisory, customer service

- Launch new products from new partnership development, business term negotiation, customer needs assessment, new product onboarding, sales training to after-sales service

2. Initiative Development

- Identify key business drivers and brainstorm for investment product initiatives,

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders one-stop solution by leveraging resources from HSBC Group

3. Project Management

- Work independently and lead as team player to develop digital platform across customer continuum

- Enhance customer journey to offer friction-free customer journey

- Process enhancement across manned and digital channel to build up a user- friendly platform/user interface for customers

- Lead system projects from planning to execution - user requirement, UAT testing, production testing, customer & frontline communication, commercialization plan

4. Data Analysis & Insight

- Monitor customer portfolio to identify risks or opportunities for sustainable business growth

- Identify customer behavior and equip frontline with the tools to deepen the long-term customer relationship

- Explore business opportunities by deep diving into the data across quantitative and qualitative views

5. Risk Control

Ensure business risk is properly assessed and fully executed when developing the business growth plan. Demonstrate disciplined risk awareness when identifying new business opportunities

 

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

     University or above graduated

     At least 5 years experience in banking industry with at least 3 years experience in investment products

     Experience in establishing a business and coordinating resources

     Ambition to grow business with the team, including external and internal stakeholders

     Good English and Mandarin communication, MS Excel skill, MS PowerPoint skill

     Obtained Fund Qualification from AMAC
