We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Provide 24x7 and On call Support on Production services
- Service Transition and acceptance: Co-ordinate implementation activities for smooth transition from development to production
- Assist on daily production Internet Banking level 1 case checking, investigation and provide solution or work-around for business.
- Interact with different parties including server team, infrastructure team and business user.
- Understanding of SRE & DevOps production support.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Understanding of Web based Application Support in a multi-tier architecture within Banking domain.
- Understand Mobile SRE support activities.
- Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with business critical server application support will be an advantage.
- Expertise in trouble shooting Java/J2EE/Microservices Applications deployed on any of the industry standard Front end Application Servers such as IBM WAS, IBM WPS, JBoss, Tomcat.
- Hands on experience on UNIX. Python based automation is a plus.
- Experience in any Industry standard Application Performance Monitoring Tool such as AppDynamics, Splunk, BMC Patrol, HP BSM, Dynatrace, etc.
- Background/previous experience in any of: Java / J2EE, Angular JS, node.js, React, Spring, DOJO, HTML, Javascript
- Experience in any ticketing Tool e.g. BMC Remedy / GSD / ServiceNow.
- Cloud management knowledge
- Worked on any application migration and have a clear understanding of the process.
- Candidates with good understanding of Cloud, Oracle database, LDAP, MQ, TCP/IP Networks, Webservers, Data Centre will be preferred.
- Understanding of Micro-services, REST APIs and integration with Mule Gateway, AnyPoint, PCF.
