We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Architect.
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities:
- Qualification in Information Technology.
- Well experience in Information Technology, typically focused on software application development and support.
- Well experience in building a technical environment.
- Vendor management experience and proven experience in managing outcomes.
- Stakeholder management and liasing with Finance Change Delivery teams.
- Demonstrated success in methods and techniques that deliver the projects.
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile and DevOps development practices.
- An Independent contributor to work with Business and IT Teams.
- Expert to manage multiple challenging stakeholders globally with conflicting priorities.
- A focus on the basic tenets of sound technical design and a desire to embed architecture rigour.
- Experience of Web application development. Excellent communication skill. Fluent English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree with major or minor in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Qualification in a related business discipline an advantage.
- Extensive relevant working experience, involvement in wealth management or investment IT functions preferred.
- Experience in the areas of retail investment, wealth management, asset management would be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in vendor management, working in a diversified or matrix team structure patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Agile development and Devops tool (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, Selenium, Jmeter, HP virtual user, Cucumber, Jenkins, QC, etc).
- Proficiency in infra setup and troubleshooting in Cloud (e.g. PCF, TP and AWS).
- Excellent analytic/problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different groups of stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong team player who also has the ability to work under pressure, independently and proactively.
