We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.

Business: Group Data Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • DevOps Leadership:
  • Manage and oversee the DevOps team and related projects.
  • Design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure across production, QA, and development environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
  • Implement automated infrastructure capabilities (e.g., backups, security tools, monitoring).
  • Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Technical Strategy:
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and DevOps teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Review requirements from a testability perspective and formulate non-functional testing strategies.
  • Work with Security Specialists or Product Owners to define security testing strategies.
  • Compliance and Data Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement technical currency in line with published standards and guidelines.
  • Translate work requirements into development activities across teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of Terraform script, Shell script
  • Certified Google Cloud Architect or equivalent certificates in other cloud vendors is an added advantage
  • Good English communication is must
  • Strong knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, CVS).
  • Experience with network infrastructure, databases, cloud, and data center operations.
  • Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows OS.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud and other cloud services.
  • Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, C++).
