We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
- Work with horizontal team which is responsible for DevOps, Infrastructure management, Tooling / Automations and Service Quality management team – be a point of contact for individual Application Delivery teams for any DevOPS and Infra Contact and support in all relevant activities like New Infra Procurement, Build & Setup, Periodic Infra Capacity Review & Upgrades, Environment Vulnerability fix, Load Balance Setups, SSL Security Licenses renewals, LDAP Setup, DevOps Pipeline Build, Code Vulnerability and Scanning Setup etc.
- End to end ownership of MS IT Infrastructure - Work with various HSBC Centralized Infrastructure teams (Server, DB, Middleware, Cloud Support etc.) for Infrastructure lifecycle management right from building New Infrastructure, Maintenance & decommission.
- Part of our DevOPS Practices responsible for Build and Maintain DevOps and CICD pipeline for various Projects. Implementation of the Continuous Integration pipeline using GitHub, Performance Centre and Jenkins or other tools
- As part of the horizonal Automation and Tooling team to build Solutions which remove/minimize any manual activity for Delivery Teams / Business Users etc.
- Help with regular Control, Governance & Reporting of various Application Service Quality measures like Incident Trend, Usage of Privileged access overall for BAU, Risk Reporting & Mitigation as well as run various projects – initiatives across the horizontal as Best Practices / Compliance Requirements etc.
- Work with HSBC centralized Cybersecurity, Application Vulnerability teams to Plan & Remediate Security and Vulnerability issues and findings
- Own/participate all Infrastructure related Projects like Periodic Infrastructure Ever greening, Data Center Migration, DR scenarios Testing & proof of success, etc.
- Chair IT COO BM Architecture Review Board to review proposed solutions designs by BM Tech Team members before implementation from Architecture, Infrastructure & Solution point of view.
- Work with HSBC Centralized Infrastructure teams for periodic Server Maintenance, Patches, Upgrades and Ever-greening etc.
- Help setup End to End Application and Infrastructure Monitoring and Alerting Solutions for Production and Performance Environments.
- Infrastructure support for various BM Environments – Dev, QA, UAT, Support, PERF, PROD & DR. Own & resolve all infrastructure related issues being faced by IT COO BM Group.
- Create/own all DevOps & Infrastructure related Documentations like Server & DB Inventory, Disaster Recovery Scenarios & Planning, DB/Storage Backup Policy, Periodic Infra Activities/Certifications, CI CD Pipelines and Maintenance etc.
- Display individual motivation and the ability to respond with innovation to new technological problems and new product possibilities.
- 12 to 20 years of hands on experience in a DevOPS and/or Infrastructure facing Leadership Role
- Extensive experience of leading a Strong DevOps / Infrastructure Support team is a must.
- Strong and hands on experience in Innovations, Automations, Tooling with Python, Java, AI / ML, DB Technologies is important.
- Strong awareness of CICD Pipelines, DevOPS Concepts and Knowledge of latest Tools and technologies
- Detailed understanding of various cloud Technologies in the marker – like AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure – VM, Servers, NAS / SAN, F5 or similar Load Balancing software, DMZ Setups, AD, LDAP etc.
- Must be able to work cross functionally and effectively communicate with co-workers and all levels both verbally and written.
