We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Legal Operations Analyst

 

The Legal Operations Analyst role on the Global Service Center Legal team will act as an extension of the United States Legal Operations team, providing support for a number of operational and administrative activities that do not require direct on-site interaction.

The scope of activities will continue to evolve as the team matures; however, initial expectations for the role include the following: 

  • Outside Counsel (Law Firm) and Vendor Management
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of law firms, including updating relevant systems of record to reflect accurate status.
  • Assist with required Third Party Risk activities and associated due dilligence, including collection of dcuments and updating systems of record.
  • Triage routine emails and inquiries from both internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
  • Perform daily/weekly controls to ensure proper outside counsel governance.
  • Generate and distribute periodic reports related to outside counsel engagement.
  • Perform daily/weekly monitoring of values in critical fields within matter management system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform continuous monitoring of active matters/invoices to support proper financial management.
  • Proactively communicate and partner with internal stakeholders to address anomolies are identified through monitoring. 
  • Escalate to onshore team for support as appropriate.
Requirements
  • ·      Operational or Compliance background.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate adherence to internal controls and relevant processes and procedures.
  • Creative and practical problem-solving skills, leveraging a sense of curiosity when completing daily activities.
  • Ability to identify and esclate barriers timely and effectively.
  • Comfort with collaborating across US onshore team members and local stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to succeed in high pressure environment with competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
