To continue to drive a customer-led business and enable accelerated growth, the Pan-China WPB Customer Proposition and Marketing team covering Global Private Banking (GPB), Premier and Pinnacle will look to transform our client offerings and experiences to truly delight our clients. The team will also look to reinforce our brand in the market and cement our positioning as a leading wealth manager and international bank.

As an integral part of the marketing team focusing on Consumer Education marketing events and promotional activities, you will be tasked to deliver creative and exciting that showcase HSBC’s commitments towards it’s social responsibilities. This role will be required to:

         Lead all customer education related promotional/marketing activities across Pan-China including co-operating with both internal/external parties and share the well experience to all stakeholders.

         Be responsible for end to end marketing activities covering Customer education & CRP including but not limited to: event conceptualization and design; initial preparations/detailed logistics and negotiation with vendors/ staffs of Pinnacle frontline; marketing material preparation, event planning & execution; post event follow-up and financial settlements etc.

         Work closely with relevant Consumer Right Protection Managers and other 2LOD risk stewards to collect and coordinate and execute requirements from regulators and customer education needs.

         Work closely with distribution teams, branches, as well as other HSBC supporting resources to implement high quality Consumer Education/CRP promotional events and projects across Pan-China based on business & regulatory requirements.

         Effective management of external vendors and internally allocated budgets.

         Follow the firm’s existing CRP framework and policies to implement relevant risk & control governance within marketing team as required.

         Be a point of contact within marketing team to providing overall guidance on relevant internal risk control governance and addresses audit points and/or any issues raised by regulators in a timely manner.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

         At least 5 years of work experience in customer events/marketing capacity preferably in banking or financial institutions

         Ideally have knowledge & experience of mainland China’s regulatory environment especially in CRP issues/consumer education requirements

         Competency in professional project planning and project management skills

         Able to co-operate stakeholders and manage different parties to work together under pressure with tight timeline.

         Able to work under multi-task environment and to travel

         Team player and strong communication and interpersonal skills

         Fluent in both English and Mandarin
