We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of PLSQL Oracle Data SME

 

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement and maintain database system to meet business requirements.
  • Convert the Business need into technical complex queries/procedures.
  • Own, manage and support data designs and solutions for Data platform project.
  • Own, manage and support Oracle databases.
  • Own, manage and support data change release automations (CICD).
  • Write complex sql queries/PLSQL Code for reporting and other business purpose.
  • Monitor Database performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Support all day to day activities related to database like data consolidation, data migration scripting, performance tuning.
  • Responsible for performance tuning activities in the project.
  • Providing technical expertise in finding root cause of major system problems, automation and data issues.
  • Fix problems of Data quality. Continuously improve data quality.
  • Reviewing, designing and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve performance.
  • Responsible for adapting and implementing data governance guidelines of the organization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 15+ years of strong expertise in PL/SQL programming, DB Design/Architecture & Normalization.
  • Strong experience of creating PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Materialized views and Exception handling for retrieving, manipulating, checking and migrating complex data sets in Oracle.
  • Strong experience with Oracle 12c/19c and knowledge of Oracle database features
  • Experience in data migration/conversion.
  • Experience in Data migration using import and export.
  • Expertise in creating the indexes on tables and partitioning the table for SQL tuning purpose.
  • Proficient in DB performance tuning & optimization Techniques
  • Experience with Datawarehouse & ETL process is preferred
  • Expertise in Data Modelling
  • Expertise in Unix Shell Scripting
  • Secondary skills: Data ETL with IBM Datastage
  • Added advantage: Knowledge in DevOps, CICD automation
