We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact/SME for all product technical issues, troubleshooting, and user inquiries.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to DWP, discussing complex issues with vendor teams when necessary.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimize the platform for improved usability and efficiency.
- Stay up to date with AppSpace Beezy updates, new features, and best practices to ensure the organization is leveraging the platform to its fullest potential.
- Drive compliance with all HSBC Cloud internal policies and engineering standards across cloud infrastructure, security, and DevOps practices.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, HR, and department heads, to align Digital Workplace functionality with business goals.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and Digital Workplace support and development team.
Requirements
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience designing and managing Azure-based cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Proven experience in SharePoint architecture, design, and administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS (Azure SQL, Azure AD, Networks).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code solutions (Terraform, ARM templates).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and experience with Azure Automation.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Git version control.
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization, monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Experience with Solr/Solr Cloud is a plus.
- Familiarity with public website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore) is a plus.
- Experience in intranet design and implementation is a plus.
