We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Premier Relationship Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Acquire, develop and retain new Non-Resident Premier Clients via outreach activities & referral sources as well as conduct in depth reviews to identify personal and financial needs of customers and deliver a consistent and tailored wealth management and financial planning service to a portfolio of HSBC clients
  • Advise on a full range of products and services that include both HSBC manufactured products and those provided by external partners
  • Continuously monitor and gather information to assess potential impacts and identify possible risks and opportunities for the business
  • Deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication and influencing
  • Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures
  • Maintain the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC and adhere to the Business Principles and Values of HSBC
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in finance, business or a related discipline
  • Experience working in relevant environment with a track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of financial planning and wealth products; and clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
  • Holder of relevant insurance and investment licenses and compliance with related Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese
  • Mandarin, Cantonese and English-speaking skills are advantageous
