Risk and Compliance


Risk and Compliance Business Management provide accurate and timely insight to our stakeholders to drive management action and enable effective operations by providing support to business management activities.  The team manages business management activities including financial planning, resource management, risk and control, and support to CRCO. The team is also responsible for departmental strategy and planning as well as the aligned delivery of Global & Regional functional R&C Chief of Staff initiatives.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Risk and Compliance Business Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of a consistent and effective approach to business management across the functional areas;
  • Support CRCO management in resource and financial planning and tracking;
  • Collaborate with local Global Functions and Lines of Businesses relevant matters (e.g. recharges, sharing of best practices, third party oversight) to drive timely and effective service delivery;
  • Support the Risk & Compliance team in the issue management process, Risk and Control Assessments, and continuous monitoring activities;
  • Support the coordination and oversight of Business Continuity Planning, Deputy Business Information Risk Officer (BIRO) activities, and Third Party Risk Management activities;
  • Facilitate smooth running of Risk & Compliance function by supporting business activities including premises;
  • Support the risk related or special projects (e.g.  enterprise wide risk assessment, NFR projects, regulatory reporting projects)
Requirements
  • University graduate preferably with a degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in Business Planning, financial management, and Control Office.
  • Understanding of different aspects of budgeting, costs, and headcount processes within a global organization.
  • Previous background of working in a large organization; ability to work with individuals at different levels
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Understanding of Risk Management Framework and Risk & Control Assessments
  • Project Management knowledge and a strong relationship management with a focus on financial and budget requirements
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Holder of professional qualification on AML/CFT (e.g. ACAMS, ICA, Associate AML Professional of HKIB) is preferred
