We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Lead Consultant Specialist

 In this role, you will:

  • Risk Delivery Lead responsible for implementing and delivering Real Time Payments program.
  • Act as a Technical Delivery Lead for Real Time Payment Platform
  • Creating the POD for delivering key programs and ensuring the delivery timelines are met with quality, within budget and time.

Project Planning and Execution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to delivery of payment platform.
  • Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and establish timelines for successful project execution.
  • Maintain close communication with business and IT teams and coordinate risk and control activities
  • Report and escalate to management as needed

 Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with business leaders, operations teams, product owners, and technology teams to align project goals with organizational objectives.
  •  Facilitate effective communication, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to plan and implement risk and control measures and/or remediations on time, meet the standards required and in good quality
  • Engage ITSOs ad ITSO delegates as required and assume and end to end ownership across all controls for DOME

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Review and identify potential flaws and vulnerable areas, define and implement plans to rectify the vulnerabilities
  • Measure performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Identify potential risks & issues associated with payment projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively address issues, and adjust plans as needed.

Vendor Coordination:

  • Collaborate with external vendors, third-party providers, and technology partners to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships as relevant.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in payment technology.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of payment systems.
  • Work closely with transformation teams to ensure that project documentations are compliant with HSBC standards.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Champion process enhancements, automation, and innovation in R&C
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the payments R&C domain   
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Should have worked in a large-scale integration preferably as Delivery Lead
  • Should have good knowledge of building resilient, scalable and secure architecture which are performant, especially with Instant Payments adoption which have stringent SLAs
  • Should have participated in key decision making for different solution and shape the solution delivery outcomes that are practical.
  • Should have led independent initiatives that either improve a process or define new process that help in over-all Architecture practice.
  • Knowledge of Payments Sanctions, Payments Accountings, Fees and Billing if possible.

What additional skills will be good to have.

  • Domain knowledge of Payments processing
  • Design and Build Mule/Z Connect based System API (SAPI’s)
