 dedicated GPS Sales and Client management team providing local support and advice in over 60 countries and territories, HSBC GPS helps customers to well manage their Global Liquidity and Cash management.

Report to: SVP, Country Head of GPS, Taiwan

Role Purpose
To direct and manage an experienced team of Sales Managers responsible for the marketing, selling of domestic and regional cash management solutions to the Bank’s Corporate and Institutional client base.
To generate new business and to initiate and manage business development initiatives.
To establish new business relationships and to strengthen existing ones.

Job Contents

  1. Win new business to achieve agreed revenue and product targets.
  2. Penetrate further into existing clients, increasing HSBC’s share of wallet.
  3. Provide appropriate responses to ‘RFP’ received with comprehensive, competitive and individually tailored proposals, within the customer’s required timeframe.
  4. Perform professional presentations, both generic and product-specific, to customers in support of potential opportunities.
  5. Lead, develop and motivate the leadership team to attract, retain and develop the capacity, capability and talent to provide for succession and ensure delivery of business objectives.
  6. Ensure a smooth transition of cash management wins from Sales to implementation
Qualifications
  1. Specialist payments/cash management industry expertise.
  2. Solid GPS knowledge/experiences with corporate banking experience.
  3. Managerial/Leadership skill
  4. Sales/Marketing and presentation skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively with personnel across functions.
  6. Fluency in both spoken and written English, Chinese is essential.
  7. PAD (personal account dealing) covered.
  8. Mandatory local license requirement: 信託業業務人員 (Trust Level 4)
