We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as SVP, Team Lead of Marketing and Client Experience in Taiwan team.

Report to: CEO, Asset Management Taiwan

Role Purpose:
- Supporting strategic and revenue growth priorities
- Understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, supporting revenue growth and increasing customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both global and market levels
- Responsible for leading marketing strategy and delivery in AMTW
- Being part of the Asset Management Marketing & Client Experience team while the role primarily supports Wholesale and Institutional Marketing locally; will be required to work across the spectrum of Propositions and Products in the HSBC Asset Management business

Principal Responsibilities
- Articulate clearly the target customer profile, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for Asset Management product, and identify key insights that help develop the proposition
- Keep track of competitive developments in this space, identify business opportunities based on internal / external data and unmet consumer needs, and design effective and measurable multi-channel marketing campaigns that support business objectives and can be used consistently across the markets
- Ensure all activities communicate strong customer propositions to targeted client segments based on insight
- Responsible for the creative development process, including agency relationships and processes to support creativity and consistency throughout the markets, and manage relevant aspects of brand governance
- Work proactively with key stakeholders in the Asset Management business, collaborate with a range of key stakeholders across Marketing (Global / Region / Market), Insights, Propositions, Product, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance
- Manage a broad range of agencies (e.g. creative, media and digital) to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials for international sites, manage virtual teams in a matrix environment when working with other parts of the Bank and across multiple agencies in order to direct others, set objectives, and drive the desired outcomes
- Coach and develop team members that are part of your team
- Encourage and enable constructive cross-market and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and / or the best interests of the business and its customers
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the application of Marketing policies, governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management and regulatory compliance
- Communicate and adhere to HSBC policies and procedures in order to ensure optimal operational, financial, project management, policy, and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arises

Qualifications
- Post graduate/degree level of qualification in business studies and marketing preferred
- Prior experience working on scale agile implementations and using collaboration tools is desirable, such as Monday, Confluence, Jira, and Slack
- Proven track record broad based business experience in Financial Services institutions
- A range of customer and marketing communications planning and operational experience, including demonstrable success in developing and developing campaign strategies and multi-channel campaigns, research, proposition development, communications, delivery and channel management
- Proven experience of understanding wholesale client audiences and delivering marketing strategy to meet the needs of those clients
- Proven experience of working on content management particularly in the digital space, developing and delivering customer communications in a regulated environment, and working with teams across multiple sites
- Proven understanding of customer insights and their role in communications / product development
- Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts
- Experience of managing agencies driving for greater values and application of resources
- Strong understanding of communication developments and emerging consumer, business decision maker, and industry trends
- Proven ability to influence leadership teams and lead across functional teams to drive improvement, to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills and to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
