We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an ALCM Finance Operations - Global Finance 

Principal Responsibilities

  • The candidate will provide oversight of HBAP’s liquidity reporting, in particular PRA and HKMA regulatory submission, internal liquidity matrix, and ALCO / TALCO reporting
  • Review and challenge HBAP liquidity returns to ensure compliance of relevant requirements, and articulate the results with senior stakeholders within submission deadlines
  • Develop and build trust relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including ALM, Group Treasury, Market Treasury, Change, Liquidity Risk and HKMA
  • Address ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders and regulators in a professional way
  • Maintain a sound control environment for the regulatory submission process
  • Ensure consistent reporting treatment across different sites as per BASEL, completion instructions and regulatory guidelines issued
  • Stay abreast with changes of regulatory requirements, and review and comment on consultation papers of new regulatory requirements and assess respective impact from regulatory reporting standpoint
  • Support Change agenda, such as Finance on the Cloud, system changes in reporting requirements, control uplift exercises
  • Manage both internal and external audit requests
  • Review new product due diligence and assess any impact from liquidity reporting perspective 


  • University degree or above and professionally qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience in HKMA regulatory reporting within a sizeable financial institution
  • Excellent knowledge of HKMA reporting requirements
  • Deep understanding of Bank’s Balance Sheet, market products and line of business
  • Strong attention to detail having strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrate change management skills, knowledge of Cloud and / or liquidity and IRRBB requirements is a significant plus
  • Strong technical skills including a good current working knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements in the context of both Hong Kong and International
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to give presentations and briefings to senior management
