We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Actuarial Analyst - ACTUARIAL - INSP

Principal responsibilities

  • The jobholder is responsible independently managing parts of the IFRS17 reporting processes to support business needs and reports to the Head of IFRS17 reporting.
  • The jobholder will perform/support Cashflow and/or CSM model runs required in the different phases of IFRS17 reporting, including for instance roll-forward or MCU calibration .
  • The jobholder will also provide support to the team lead to explain the numbers to management.
  • The jobholder works closely with the other teams members based in Singapor office, external actuarial consultants and internal & external auditors, ensuring adherence to the HSBC policies and assurance requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body.
  • At least 6 years of Actuarial experience with experience in IFRS17 is preferred.
  • In depth experience with reporting processes and the reporting control environment.
  • Strong Prophet skills is preferred. Knowledge in ALS / Stochastic modelling is an advantage.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Team managing experience is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and at times rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
