We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Finance Analyst, GPB Asia.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide meaningful MI and insight into GPB business performance, using both internal and external financial and non-financial data as well as technology, to guide management decision making and contribute to strategy formulation
  • Lead all the Group driven global processes including month end reporting, forecast, annual planning cycle and PRA/GIST Stress Test for Asia, working closely with GPB Asia business and GPB global and WPB regional finance teams
  • Partner with senior GPB management to drive financial performance with a particular focus on China and Taiwan onshore business
  • Support business growth strategies and be the finance gatekeeper of business cases formulation and execution, ensuring that stakeholders fully understand the inherent risk and rewards, including regulatory and tax implications
  • Develop a detailed understanding of data and system, and work with finance change team to enhance our analytical capabilities in Qliksense & Kali
  • Initiate changes to improve existing BAU process and establish new processes to meet business demand, using technology wherever possible
  • Coach and develop the offshore team
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
