The Opportunity:
- You will get to work with MPO platform, which is the best in class digital channel for Mortgage origination is moving the technical stack from internal private cloud to public cloud. This opportunity would see you being part of this complex exercise, giving sufficient exposure to cloud workings and its internals.
- You will work closely with the business owners from varied regions to understand their reporting requirement and finally design/ developing a global product.
- You will get an opportunity to lead an Agile delivery team with a vast experience on modern day technologies.
- You will own delivery of the work assigned and drive it to successful completion right from requirement gathering till defect resolving and quality product delivery into markets.
What will you do :
- Owning technical challenges, researching solutions and implementing best practices across the Global Engineering community, ensuring technical alignment with other Global programmes
- Implementing technical standards / governance across the engineering teams and promoting the use of tooling, Cloud environments and automated testing throughout the engineering life cycle
- Work within the scrum team to drive the technical roadmap for all channels and service fulfilment
- Support the Engineering Lead to drive alignment of key Global
- Engineering work streams e.g. ALM, Tooling, Continuous Integration, ‘1-Click’ environments etc.
- Familiarity with a variety of designs, languages, and methodologies (e.g. SQL, ORM, J2EE, RabbitMQ , Microservices, Agile and Scrum)
- Proven track record in designing, developing and deploying applications. Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins
Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- 8+ years’ experience working in an enterprise development environment; Java, HTML5, JavaScript, React, Spring Boot, MQ, SOAP or REST Framework, XML and Cloud hosting
- Experience of Agile methodologies (Scrum in particular), source control & deployment (Maven, Jenkins, Build Forge etc) and test driven development
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is a articulated in a simple meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
- Experience of being in an engineering role where the candidate can influence and drive change within the engineering community, working across multiple teams and multiple time zones
- In depth knowledge of productivity / Quality tools & methods: e.g. Junit
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in the areas of Continuous Integration, Test Automation, Unit Testing
- Driving change and innovation; Ability to build wider networks and trusting relationships
- Candidate should have experience of technically leading teams
- Candidate should have ability to think creatively and translate ideas into working reality
- Candidate should have strong creative, analytic and organizational skills
- Candidate should have proficiency in driving strategy development and execution
- Candidate should have ability to function effectively & adapt to culture of high performing team
- Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence
